Brilliant experience
We had a fantastic trip. The guide was excellent and the captain was amazing in finding the location of a Humpback whale and getting us near enough to view but not too close to disturb the animal. Would happily recommend this tour.

SUPERB
I had already tried this trip last August and we had seen a lot of whales (according to the guide herself). I had not seen dolphins and decided to try the experiment again. We still haven’t seen dolphins and a few fewer whales, but the outing is still a great opportunity

Interesting journey and lucky to see much wildlife
The boat was comfortable and we were well informed of what we saw: many dolphins (macro pod), including babies, minke whales and humpbacks. The marine biologist did a good job spotting the wildlife including birds. Nice refreshments for purchase on board. Boat departed and returned on time.

Great trip, lovely boat
Great trip, the boat was a little more luxurious than the alternative fishing/rib boats going out on tour. Nice to have different levels to view from and the chance to pop inside for a hot drink when it got chilly! The tour was a great success amongst our group

Once in a lifetime experience even with a lost phone
Wow… what an incredible experience from beginning to end. We saw so many humpback whales and seals - which was a once in a lifetime experience! Not only was the trip amazing I unfortunately dropped my phone into the bay before departing off; distraught the team were incredible and pulled us into the captains cabin shortly after and informed us that they would be able to contact a local diver to retrieve it! I was slightly apprehensive however we arrived back at the dock with the diver in sight and he thankfully had found my phone and it was working which was a miracle in itself! 5 star service from start to finish and I couldn’t recommend the team more! Even with this stupid mistake I again can’t recommend booking with Harpa Yachts and will definitely be back hopefully diving to see the incredible wildlife and not to find my phone again!

A must in Iceland whale watching on the Amelia Rose
Wow what an amazing experience best trip we have done . The whale just kept swimming between the boats giving us even a close up next to the boat . The Amelia Rose was perfect warm inside with drinks (hot and cold) snacks etc a fire if you got really cold . The guides were brilliant telling us which side of the boat to go to and as there are 3 floors the boat never felt crowded. An amazing trip

Cannot recommend highly enough
Such a fantastic experience. The crew were great, especially the marine biologist how was very informative. We saw humpback whales and seals. It was such a joy to see them in their natural environment. 10/10 definitely worth the money. Check in was a breeze and the boat was amazing.

Just a fantastic experience
My experience with Harpa Yachts was absolutely fabulous! The highlight was our guide, Julian, who was fantastic at spotting whales with high winds and snow using just his keen eyes—no sonic detectors involved, making the experience feel more natural and respectful of marine life. The cosy atmosphere onboard was complemented by a lovely bar offering delicious hot drinks and snacks, which added to the comfort. The entire trip was well-organized and truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy whale watching in a sustainable and relaxed manner! We got to see many whales in December, which was brilliant. The tickets are collected in a pub by the harbour and there is someone their helping you .
